Classical and Flamenco Guitar Masterclasses
Silviu Ciulei, DM, is an award winning classical and flamenco guitarist, an experienced composer, and a dedicated pedagogue.
Silviu regularly teaches masterclasses, lectures and presents workshops on classical and flamenco guitar technique and musicianship at colleges and universities around the US and abroad. He has served as a judge in national and international guitar competitions.
David Cobb, MM, offers masterclasses and lessons in electric bass technique and the role of the bass in ensemble playing, as well as lectures on the history of the electric bass and its profound influence on the musics of the world. A trained ethnomusicologist, David brings the research background and historical perspective of flamenco to the audience.
Didgeridoo and Percussion
Ramin Yazdanpanah, PhD, is a talented musician in a variety of percussive instruments from Latin America, Africa, and the Middle East, and a skilled player of the Didgeridoo, the instrument of the Australian Aborigines, thought to be the oldest instrument in the world. Ramin has been an educator for over 12 years, and holds a Master's degree in Multilingual and Multicultural Education and a PhD in Intercultural Education.
